Finland needs a President who can bring people together. We deserve a Finland that we can be proud of, here at home and all over the world.
In the world we live in today, a President must have experience and vision. With the ongoing war in Europe, there is no time to practice. The next president must have the necessary know-how ready for the task.
The President of the Republic is also a moral leader. They need to know Finland and the Finnish people. Not only the ones at parties and parades, but the ordinary everyday Finns from all corners of this country. I know that the Finns don’t always agree. I also know it’s possible to have a conversation with each and every one – and that it’s possible to do that with dignity and respect.
